Congratulations to University of Michigan hockey coach Red Berenson who notched his 700th coaching victory on Oct. 8, 2010 as the Wolverines beat Bowling Green State University, 4-1.
With the win, Berenson became only the sixth coach in NCAA hockey history to reach the 700 win plateau. The Wolverines also knocked off the Falcons on Oct. 9, 4-2, to record a sweep of the two-game series in Bowling Green, Ohio and help Berenson add to his UM career wins record.
